A review on the treatment of Herbal Medicine for asymptomatically infected COVID-19 patients

Objectives Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the treatment herbal medicine for patients with COVID-19 asymptomatic infections. Method In English, search engines such as â??PubMedâ??, â??Science Directâ??, and â??Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature (CINAHL)â?? were used. Chinese, â??China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI)â?? Wanfang keywords â??COVID-19â??, â??asymptomatic infectionâ??, â??Korean Medicineâ??, â??traditional Chinese medicineâ??, â??herbal etc. Only clinical studies using without fever or respiratory symptoms selected. We excluded cases that do not fit research topic. Results A total 5 finally Among them, four them used integrated Western medicine, one treated exclusively medicine. There a seven prescriptions in study. Outcome variables following: lab test, nucleic acid conversion time, hospitalization period, chest CT, RCT study, decreased average time compared control group, but it was statistically significant. No other adverse reactions reported all studies. Conclusion According results, might be an effective infection reducing turning negative. severe effects reported.
